To the riders & their families, our followers and my friends,

Today, the 9th of May 2026, on the eve of the 2nd round of the Victoria Junior Road Series, I would like to let you know that we will continue to support grass roots cycling in Australia via our media organisation.

For nearly 3 years now, we have followed the progress of so many young talented road cyclists. For these 3 years, we have always tried to make our media organisation affordable for everyone and especially our youngest athletes.

In 2026, we have tried, since January, to secure important sponsors and supports to follow this year Victoria Junior Road Series. Unfortunately, due to external factors and cost-of-living, we have been unsuccessful in search.

For the 1st round of the Victoria Junior Road Series – Alpe de Buffalo, we have been able to heavily promote the event and supply freely any images to riders, sponsors and cycling club. We would like to thanks very much the Alpine Cycling Club who support and commission our media organisation, and also to Image Writer Photography, my other business, for sponsoring this event.

For the next few rounds of the 2026 Victoria Junior Road Series, our media organisation, facing many cost increase such as travel and accommodation, come to the following decision:

• We have decided to limit the promotion on our social media of the events making the 2026 Victoria Junior Road Series as event organisers and official cycling organisations did not commit to any financial support to our media organisation.
• For the first time, we have decided to charge young riders for low resolution images when our media organisation is not commissioned by any event organisers, official cycling organisations or sponsors. The new fee will be set at $5 per images for low resolution images with some discounts per quantity. For information, the fee for adult is set at $10 per images for low resolution images.
• Our friendly supporters for the 2026 Victoria Junior Road Series are businesses sharing the same value than us. They have always showed us some kind of support even if they have not been able to help us financially.

Our media organisation, Australia Cycling Photography, will continue to work looking for and securing future sponsors for up-coming cycling events in Australia, making our work affordable for everyone.

Our commitment to grass roots cycling in Australia will never change.
